Entire Kansas Men's Basketball Schedule To Be Nationally Televised

All 31 Kansas men's basketball games will be televised nationally during the 2008-09 regular season, Kansas Athletics announced Thursday. The highlights include three games on CBS (at Michigan State and home vs. Texas and Missouri), and 21 games on the ESPN family of networks, which includes three games on ABC and four Big Monday appearances. Kansas Jayhawk fans now have a chance to help Lawrence become "TitleTown USA". Fan voting on ESPN.com will determine the winning community. Voting begins Wednesday, July 23 at 6 p.m. CST and runs through Sunday, July 27. Lawrence is one of 20 finalists for the honor. (more)

Kansas head baseball coach Ritch Price is serving as an assistant coach with the U.S. Collegiate National Team this summer. Price's team is just two wins away from becoming the first national team in 30 years to go through the summer undefeated. The team has already defeated the Cuban national team twice this year, becoming the first U.S. team to accomplish this.
